Abstract: The purpose of the paper is to offer a generalized diagram of deformation of steel, operating under conditions of volumetric stress state. Such diagrams are used for deformation calculations of steel reinforced concrete structures. According to A.A. Ilyushin’s single curve hypothesis the relation between stresses and strains, obtained at uniaxial tension of the steel shell, is considered valid for all stress states. In this case, the current stresses and strains are replaced by stress intensity and strain intensity respectively.
